Founded in 1968 by Dr. Charles Allen and re-registered under current CEO Andrew (Andy) Allen's ownership in 2006, Aerodyne is a multi-faceted engineering services and solutions company tackling the nation's toughest engineering challenges in the Aerospace, Defense and Government sectors.

CEO Andrew (Andy) Allen has 35 years of experience in the aerospace industry and is a former United States Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel. A former Marine test pilot and NASA astronaut, he understands the critical role of information technology, design engineering, human factor engineering, sustaining engineering, maintenance, operations and safety compliance. Andy has also performed in senior leadership positions at the NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC), NASA Johnson Space Center, NASA Headquarters, United Space Alliance (USA) and Honeywell.

We specialize in Engineering Services, and are also very strong in Information Technology.
Aerodyne built hardware components are installed on the International Space Station.

Our contracts are on high risk, high priority programs of national importance, including the Artemis Program, James Webb Space Telescope and Deep Space Network.
Our Owner/CEO is Andrew Allen. A former Marine Top Gun who logged more than 6,000 flight hours in more than 30 different aircraft. He is also a veteran NASA astronaut, Space Shuttle Pilot (STS-46 & STS-62) and Mission Commander (STS-75). He was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in 2022.
Lee Williams, our Chief Operating Officer, was General Manager of Honeywell Space Division and Vice President of Honeywell Europe’s Industrial Operations and Industrial Automation and Control Systems.
We have outstanding employees who have received top Industry and Program Awards.
We were selected NASA’s Center-Level Small Business Subcontractor of the Year at Kennedy Space Center in 2017 & 2019 and Marshall Space Flight Center in 2014.
We received the FY2020 Nunn Perry Award for Small Business Mentor Protégé Program Excellence (with Jacobs) for support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
