CAPE CANAVERAL — Before rockets can lift off, they are carried to the launch pad using the iconic Crawler Transporter. The Crawler, which was constructed in 1965, was due for an upgrade, and a team of engineers has seen to it that it can run (or crawl) seamlessly for future launches.
