Deep Space Antenna Gets the Green Light!

Cleared for Launch! On May 13, 2021, our Aerodyne Team at Goldstone Space Communication Complex got the green light to begin construction for NASA’s Deep Space Network Antenna. The 34-meter dish will function as a radio frequency communication antenna equipped with mirrors and a special receiver for laser communication from distant spacecraft. Our team is eager to get started and have this incredible technology available by 2023.
